GRRRL SCOUT is a queer and trans owned events company that focuses on providing safe, inclusive spaces for folks to celebrate queer joy. They prioritize safety and respect, and strive to create a judgment-free environment where everyone is welcome.

After ten years of steady growth, Kristen (she/her/hers) and Jack (they/them/theirs), owners, have decided to expand GRRRL SCOUT's monthly queer dance party beyond Minneapolis and set up in downtown Denver.

Both Jack and Kristen bring their unique expertise to the table when creating these events. Jack provides creative design direction while Kristen manages event curation. Together it has been the perfect pairing. However, the GRRRL SCOUT team prefers to remain in the background, giving the performers and community the spotlight. “We understand that our contribution is a mere fraction of our successes. The energy behind GRRRL SCOUT is created by the folks attending and participating in our events.” - GS

Recognizing the limited number of dedicated queer spaces in the country, many of which specifically cater to cisgender, white, gay men, GRRRL SCOUT sought to create a more diverse and inclusive community. One that highlights the contributions of femme, trans, non-binary, and bipoc individuals.

Expect the unexpected! GRRRL SCOUT’s playful themed parties are guaranteed to be a new experience each and every time.

With events ranging from “GAYLXY” and “Summer Camp” themed parties to queer inspired formals, there’s no lack of creative outfit opportunities. Their Minneapolis monthly dance parties bring out 600+ queer cuties each and every month. 

The company builds community through partnerships that promote inclusivity and support for queer individuals. They also use their platform to showcase local queer artists, musicians, performers, companies and organizations. GRRRL SCOUT believes that by embracing our differences and celebrating diversity, we can create a more vibrant and stronger community that benefits everyone. GRRRL SCOUT is excited to join the ranks of other fabulous queer organizers such as the Mile High Queer Club, The Sapphic Social Club and Queer Denver Living. “Denver has a vibrant queer community, with lots of great offerings ranging from rock climbing and fundraisers to speed dating and bingo events. We hope to add to this amazing lineup by offering a late night offering.”
